The Washington Monument is one of the most photographed landmark in DC. Naturally, it's hard to get a unique shot. Walking along Ohio Drive, over the bridge, I caught this perspective on the railing, and framed the Monument among little embellishments in the design. Truly, perspective changes how mighty or mini something appears to us. This also applies to our experiences; something that appears to be taking over our minds lessens in impact once we take a step back and change our perspective.
