Sitting and sipping coffee on the deck in our new home, my husband's keen eye spotted this majestic creature right behind our backyard. Deer have incredibly sensitive hearing and as soon as he told me to look, this dear deer perked up and started staring at us. I quietly grabbed my camera from inside, went closer to our fence and captured his stern yet absolutely gorgeous face looking right at me. I was as careful as I could be to not scare him or worry him. I then tiptoed back to let him be and enjoy the woods!
